A Beautiful Day

Lyrics

(Hey!) It's a beautiful day (Hey!) It's a beautiful day Sunday morning, pancakes on the stairs Dad's flipping them high, there's syrup everywhere Holly's in the mirror fixing up her hair And I can't find my other shoe anywhere Then the doorbell rings and I already know Big brother's here! Big brother's here! Come on, let's go! It's a beautiful day, a beautiful day My big brother's home and we're all in one place Pancakes on the table and the sun on my face It's a big, beautiful day (Hey!) It's a beautiful day Squeezed in the back seat, big brother's tickling me Holly says, "Be good," and Dad sings off-key Church bells ringing and we're running late again We slide into the pew right before "Amen" Thank you for the sunshine, thank you for my brother Thank you for my family, we've got each other It's a beautiful day, a beautiful day My big brother's home and we're all in one place Pancakes on the table and the sun on my face It's a big, beautiful day (Hey!) It's a beautiful day After church we throw the football in the yard Big brother goes long and I throw it really far Sun's going down and I don't want it to end Can we do it all next Sunday again? It's a beautiful day, a beautiful day Everybody's home and we're all in one place Thank you for the sunshine and the smile on my face It's a big, beautiful day (Hey!) It's a beautiful day (Hey!) Thank you for a beautiful day Big, beautiful day (Hey!)
