Three Strikes

Lyrics

One, two... Three! Saturday game, sun on the dugout roof Sunflower seeds and the dirt on my shoes Coach tossed me the ball, said, "Go on, it's your day" I said one thing to myself as I walked out that way Ball one... (stop) Strike one... (stop) Strike two... here we go (Three!) Three strikes! (Three!) There's one thing I've been dreaming to do Three strikes! (Three!) Strike out a kid at my baseball game He swung at the air and the umpire yelled "Three!" Three strikes, you're out, and that one's for me Last time the big kid hit the ball it went flying over me One kid on my team chased it out to the trees During my game they went running round to score I got it now, I'm not scared anymore Ball one... (stop) Strike one... (stop) Strike two... here we go (Three!) Three strikes! (Three!) There's one thing I've been dreaming to do Three strikes! (Three!) Strike out a kid at my baseball game He swung at the air and the umpire yelled "Three!" Three strikes, you're out, and that one's for me Last inning, two outs, everybody's on their feet Mom's yelling my name from the top of the seats I wound it up, I let it go And it ended up being a strikeout! Three strikes! (Three!) There's one thing I've been dreaming to do Three strikes! (Three!) I struck out a kid at my baseball game The whole team's running and they're yelling "Three!" Three strikes, you're out, and that one's for me Three! Three! Three! That one's for me
